To Warm A Winter’s Night

“To Warm A Winter’s Night” will feature great music by our local talented musicians, and be a fundraiser for the Washington/Hancock Community Agency (WHCA) heating assistance fund.

Support for the event is community wide, with businesses helping with advertising and musicians donating their talents. Local performers include MacLir Ceilidh Band (Celtic), Bobbi Lane (blues), Stesha Cano and Ben Layman singing duets, and Live Bait (traditional fiddle band). Finn’s Irish Pub will offer a cash bar for beer and wine in the lobby.

“We really wanted to be able to support families who need help with heating this winter,” said Chris Whalley, event organizer for the Knights of Columbus, “and we wanted to bring the community together to share in that. The Grand loved the idea of helping us put on a show … so everybody gets to have fun.”
