Seal Brother

Written & directed by Georgia W. Zildjian

Student actors collaborated to create an original take on this ancient Celtic myth, bringing it to the shores of Downeast Maine! Based on the myth of the selkie, a magical creature who can transform from seal to human, Seal Brother transported us to the past to explore themes of magic, loss, and family through the eyes of those who still believe in fairy tales. The intensive gave students a chance to study various crafts of theatre arts-- voice, movement, ensemble, devising, design-- alongside the production of their play.
